Eisenhower. |

| Biographical note | Jerome R. Worsley was born near Bethel, N.C., on October 20, 1928. He earned an BS in Business and Social Studies and an MA in Educational Administration from East Carolina Teachers College (now East Carolina University), and a Doctorate in Education including Vocational-Technical and Community College Administration from North Carolina State University. He taught high school before serving in the United States Army. Following his discharge, he continued teaching and worked for twenty-six years at Durham Technical Community college in Durham, N.C, as a professor, Dean of Adult and General Education, and as Dean of the Faculty for Technical and Vocational Education Degrees. |
